There is excellent vibrancy to the markedly mineral-driven flavors that are not especially dense but do offer very good detail and sneaky good persistence on the linear and moderately austere finale

The tannins are nowadays much finer and the acidity lends this tension and plenty of freshness

This is great Chardonnay first

which is located close to legendary vineyards (less than 400 metres from Romanée-Conti and less than 600 metres from Richebourg

A completely different nose is present here with its more floral aromas as well as more elegant red berry fruit scents

3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot

There is fine volume to the velvet-textured medium-bodied flavors that possess fine length on the slightly austere and mouth coating finale

It is exactly what you expect from this Margaux estate
